Why purchase supplements from Fullscript

Fullscript carries everything I recommend. I have thoroughly researched and vetted the products I recommend because, as you know, quality is key when it comes to supplements just as it is key when it comes to food. That being said, formulations do change from time to time, so please don’t hesitate to let me know if a product has changed or is no longer available.

Finding Products in Fullscript

Here are some tips on how to find products in Fullscript (once you’ve set up an account):

  • Click on “Catalog” and then in the center of the page click on “Trudy Scott’s supplement & natural health products store collection”  (previously called Favorites) to see what may interest you.  You’ll see favorite folders such as Adrenal Support, Amino Acids, Anxiety, Basics, Candida, Cognition, Liquid and Powder Options, Pyroluria and so on
(FYI – if these instructions may not apply as Fullscript sometimes changes their website – please let us know and we will update these instructions)
  • If you are doing the online  GABA Quickstart class, look under Class: GABA Quickstart for the related supplements that are in this collection (previously called Favorites) folder.
  • If you are doing the online group program Amazing Amino Acids for Eliminating Anxiety look under Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5 for the recommended products for each of the five classes OR
  • You can simply use the search feature to find the product/s by name or brand (sometimes you have to go to the brand and then search for the product name)

And some product-specific blogs about some of the above amino acids:

  • GABA for the physical-tension and stiff-and-tense-muscles type of anxiety
  • Tryptophan for the worry-in-your-head and ruminating type of anxiety
  • DPA for weepiness, pain and comfort and reward eating

International Orders

What about international orders?

Unfortunately, Fullscript does not ship internationally.

So we suggest folks try an intermediary shipping service like www.shipito.com (we haven’t used them as of yet, so do your own research, and if they or someone else does work out please let us know in the comments below).

An alternative is to use iHerb to get similar products, as they ship worldwide and may even have a branch in your country for free shipping.

Here is the link for iHerb and to get 5% off: https://www.iherb.com/?rcode=BAN2021 and if you are interested in iHerb’s exclusive brands to get 10% off:  https://www.iherb.com/c/iherb-exclusives?rcode=BAN2021

Hi! I am taking so many supplements for Hashimotos… also dealing with anxiety. It sounds like Tryptophan will be helpful. Are there any problems taking it with other supplements?

    Hi,

I live in Singapore and am in need of quite a few of your recommended supplements.
It’s been quite difficult to source them and have some of the brands delivered here. Is Fullscript an USA based clients only?
Any other sites that you could advise where to get the brands of the amino acids and supplements you recommend ?

Fullscript does only ship to the USA but you could consider using a service like https://www.shipito.com/en/ Lidtke does ship internationally but it’s pricey unless you order multiple products.

Which products are you looking for and what have you been able to source so far and from where? I’d like to create a database of sources for all over the world.

I think I have a FullScript acc’t, but having lost my husband to IPF, after being his SOLE caregiver for several yrs and now being all alone, I don’t remember. I’m definitely not computer savvy. HELP!

I’m esp interested in the Vit D/K1 &K2. I do take Vit K2 and 10,000 IU’s of soft gel Vit D3 daily. I have: MARCONS, estrogen dominance, heavy metal toxicity, CIRS, chronic LYME, Hashimoto’s, Hypo/Hyper thyroidism, labile hypertension, bronchiectasis and have had numerous bad falls & who knows what else? I will be 78 in the fall, but am told I look ten yrs younger. I am a retired nutritionist.

There is not and it’s always best to find individual doses for each of the deficiencies as they are unique to each person.

If you are new to the amino acids (and other anxiety nutrition solutions like gluten/sugar/caffeine removal, blood sugar control, gut health, pyroluria etc) my book “The Antianxiety Food Solution” is a great place to start. More here https://www.everywomanover29.com/store/aafsbook.html

Apologies for the delay in your comment approval and my response. We had a computer glitch where a large number of comments were hidden from view in a spam folder. It mostly affected new folks who were commenting for the first time but it’s hopefully resolved now.

Hi Trudy! I’m trying to purchase some products on Fullscript on your recommendations but I’m in Canada and I couldn’t complete the order. Fullscript contacted me and said I could order from your Canadian dispensary but I’m unsure how to find it. Would you please be able to help me?
Also, I’m a little confused about the Amino Acid questionnaire on your website. It seems to just be a list of symptoms associated with low levels of each amino acid, but I’m unsure of how to rate my symptoms or weigh the ratings. I have symptoms from each list, but what levels determine a deficiency that merits supplementation?
    Thank you so much!

The questionnaire is right out of my book “The Antianxiety Food Solution” and I really recommend folks read it so they can be smart about using the amino acids. It’s all explained in there. More here https://www.everywomanover29.com/blog/the-antianxiety-food-solution-by-trudy-scott/

In brief, the best way to determine if someone may have low GABA is to look at the low GABA symptoms, rate them on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being worst, do a trial of GABA if you have any low GABA symptoms and rate the symptoms again right afterwards (in the next 2 to 30 minutes).

We’re not sure what we’re dong with the Canadian dispensary as yet.

    Hi Trudy,

First, thank you for all the information you provide. Tryptophan has made a world of difference for me with sleep.

I was wondering if you would consider also setting up a Canadian Fullscript account for Canadian customers. Fullscript tells me that it is easy and free for you to do this.

    Thank you so much!

      Hello Trudy,
I have just bought The Anti-Anxiety Food Solution, and am looking forward to working through it with some of my children to help with anxiety issues and, quite likely, pyroluria (after your checklist). Thank you so much for your wonderful work.

Glad to hear tryptophan has made a world of difference for you with sleep. We decided not to set up a Canadian Fullscript store because of the complexity of maintaining two stores and keeping track of what’s available in each one (not everything is available in Canada). I’m hoping Fullscript will merge their setup so folks in my community log in to one site and pick US or Canada for delivery.

    Hi Trudy,

I’ve been following your work for a while now, and just watched your very informative interview on the Mind, Body & the Vagus Nerve Connection summit. Based on your questionnaire, I tick many of the low serotonin boxes.

I’m based in Australia. From the FX Medicine podcast I gathered you are (were) based in Australia too, which made me wonder if you know of/used an Australian dispensary for ordering the Lidtke brand l-tryptophan brand you recommend. I’ve also found tryptophan products on https://au.iherb.com/, but I’m not sure about their quality/effectiveness. Alternatively, would starting with 5-HTP be an option?

    Thank you very much!

They do need to be mail ordered directly from Lidtke or via my store using a service like shipitto. Sports nutrition stores in Australia carry Healthwise tryptophan powder which I have found to be very effective. It just doesn’t taste great.

Thank you so much for your help and quick response, Trudy, I really appreciate it! When using the powder from the Healthwise brand you mentioned, do you weigh the recommended amount (500 mg) on scales each time or is there another method you prefer? Thank you!

      • Trudy Scott says

        August 27, 2021 at 5:43 am

        Eve
Yes you can do that or just use a teaspoon and start with a small amount and increase based on response. One you’ve done it once you shouldn’t need to do it each time. The powder products don’t state that 500mg weighed out is equivalent to 500mg in say the Lidtke Tryptophan capsule.

    Hi Trudy,
Thanks for the great discount on Fullscript. I was reading through your list of recommendations and want to ask you about Vitamin C. It says “Vitamin C 1000mg is used to negate the effects of any amino acid.” Does that mean if I take a supplement (such as tyrosine) at the same time as Vitamin C, the benefits are negated? Would love clarification on that and any clarification about how to optimize the timing. Thank you!

Hello! I am wondering if it is okay to take GABA if one is taking medication for high blood pressure, as well as high cholesterol? I have followed you for years, and I am now realizing that my father may benefit from GABA to help with his severe muscle cramping.

I have clients check with the prescribing doctor and get monitored since GABA can lower high blood pressure and BP meds can often be lowered/stopped. No issue with cholesterol meds.

If you find you need help and guidance with your father, I walk folks thru how to safely and effectively use GABA in the GABA QuickStart program https://www.anxietynutritioninstitute.com/gabaquickstart/
