Part 2 covers what to pack and take with you to stay healthy <strong>while you\u2019re away<\/strong> and <strong>how best to eat while you\u2019re there.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What to pack and take with you &#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First aid for a cold<\/strong> \u2013 extra vitamin C,     garlic tablets,   oil of oregano tablets and tea tree oil (a great throat gargle).<\/li>\n<li>Cans of sardines and oysters, grass-fed beef jerky and fruit for <strong>emergency rations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Portable blender and smoothie ingredients<\/strong> like whey protein powder and coconut milk<\/li>\n<li>A good supply of <strong>delicious herbal tea bags<\/strong>, like licorice, rooibos, lemon-ginger<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>When you are there &#8211; <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Veggie omelets<\/strong> are great for breakfast or whip up a <strong>smoothie<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ask for olive oil and vinegar for a <strong>healthful salad dressing<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drink plenty of water and herbal tea<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Make good meal choices for lunch and dinner<\/strong> \u2013 order meat or fish or chicken with a serving of veggies and\/or salad (use your sardines as a backup if needed)<\/li>\n<li>If you\u2019re in a place like Vegas and are exposed to<strong> 2<sup>nd<\/sup>-hand smoke, take extra vitamin C<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Have fun and enjoy!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We want to be in fly-healthy mode before we leave and while we are away.
