We\u2019re going to share expert interviews on nutritional approaches for eliminating anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks and OCD.<\/p>\n<p>This is what you\u2019ll learn in the Anxiety Summit \u2013 how you can eliminate:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>full blown anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, OCD, phobias<\/li>\n<li>constant low grade fear, feelings of dread, the racing heart, the busy mind you can\u2019t switch off and the ruminating thoughts<\/li>\n<li>the constant worry, perfectionism, procrastination, the who-am-I-to-do-this or imposter syndrome<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first talk is: \u201c<strong>The latest food and nutrient research on anxiety, music and more<\/strong>\u201d and airs live on Monday November 3<sup>rd<\/sup> from 9am PST for a 24 hour window.<\/p>\n<p>Trudy Scott, Food Mood Expert, is the host <a title=\"as\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theAnxietySummit.com\" target=\"_blank\">the Anxiety Summit<\/a>, and author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1572249250\/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=wwwantianxiet-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399349&amp;creativeASIN=1572249250%20\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Antianxiety Food Solution.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why The Anxiety Summit<\/li>\n<li>New research on food and nutrients for reducing anxiety and depression<\/li>\n<li>Why changing our diets and addressing nutritional deficiencies is so important<\/li>\n<li>Music for mood and some inspiration for you<\/li>\n<li>Gems from each of the upcoming speakers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A recent paper in <em>BMC Psychiatry<\/em> titled <a title=\"link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/25204469\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Lessons from obesity prevention for the prevention of mental disorders&#8221;<\/a> proposes that<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>common mental disorders like anxiety and depression \u201cshould be considered as a form of non-communicable disease,\u201d like obesity \u201cpreventable through the modification of lifestyle behaviors, particularly diet\u201d and exercise.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One of the authors of the above study, Dr. Felice Jacka, a well-known food and mood researcher, co-authored another 2014 paper \u201c<a title=\"link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/25060574\" target=\"_blank\">Nutritional psychiatry research: an emerging discipline and its intersection with global urbanization, environmental challenges and the evolutionary mismatch<\/a>\u201d\u00a0 that stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cthe clear message is that in the midst of a looming global epidemic\u201d of mental health disorders, \u201cwe ignore nutrition at our peril.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If you joined us in June during season 1, you\u2019ll recall Dr. Jacka shared <a title=\"jacka\" href=\"https:\/\/www.everywomanover29.com\/blog\/anxiety-summit-the-research-food-to-prevent-and-treat-anxiety-and-depression\" target=\"_blank\">The Research \u2013 Food to prevent and treat anxiety and depression?<\/a>\u00a0 She shared:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We\u2019ve now seen data from right around the world right across every continent and across age ranges, showing that diet really does matter to the prevalence and incidence of depression and anxiety.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is the ATA blog post I mentioned: Five Ways the New ATA Hypothyroidism Guidelines are Bad for Thyroid Patients<\/p>\n<p>Music has mood benefits.
